The SD Association (those that make the memory card) has now put in the the specification 802.11n Wi-Fi – known as the “Wireless LAN SD” standard.
This means cards that you put in eg. your camera can connect directly to your computer over the WLan.
There’s already some products out there such as Eye-Fi but the standard will ensure that everything works together properly.
